Walter Trout's Common Ground one of the Top 10 Blues Albums of 2010
"Like a pint with an old friend, Trout's 20th album is seldom revelatory, but it reminds you what you liked about him in the first place: molten Stratocaster solos, superior original material, and a palpable desire to piss on the blues gestapo's rulebook with dips into funk and hard rock. Reel this one in." - Henry Yates, Classic Rock Magazine

Lil' Ed Williams Joins Conan O'Brien on Stage at the Chicago Theatre
Chicago slide guitar master Lil' Ed Williams (leader of Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials) joined Conan O'Brien on stage during his sold-out "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television" performance at the Chicago Theatre on May 20, 2010. Ed, along with the house band led by Jimmy Vivino, performed his original song, Icicles In My Meatloaf.
Conan and Lil' Ed first met back in 2006 when O'Brien brought his Late Night show to Chicago. Ed appeared with O'Brien in a hilarious filmed segment, followed by Ed sliding across the stage of the Chicago Theatre on his knees while playing and then jamming with the Late Night host. The entire Late Night staff was so impressed by Ed's talent and charisma that they invited him and The Blues Imperials back to New York for a full song performance later that year.

Guitar Shorty strikes with Bare Knuckles!
Legendary guitarist/vocalist Guitar Shorty is a giant in the blues world. Like a bare knuckled boxer, Shorty strikes with his blistering, physical guitar playing and his fierce vocals, connecting directly with body and soul. What really sets Shorty apart is his absolutely unpredictable, off-the-wall guitar playing. He reaches for sounds, riffs and licks that other blues players wouldn't even think of. With his new CD, Bare Knuckle, Guitar Shorty has created an album that is as memorable for its defiant vocals and contemporary, socially conscious lyrics as it is for his trademark menacing, slashing guitar work and hard-rocking spirit.
