Goodbye Michael
Hard to find words to say about Michael Jackson. What he did for the world of music, video and dance may never be topped. His creativity, ingenuity, and imagination was beyond what most of us could ever imagine. Unfortunately, The bizarre lifestyle he took on during the second half of his life, I believe is hard for any of us to imagine or understand either. I wish that part could be erased as I always will remember him as the kid I saw June 8, 1979 with the Jackson 5 on their Destiny tour at the old Charlotte Coliseum as pictured above. He was black, He had a fro that probably measured 2 feet wide. He was a good lookin’ kid that could sing and dance his ass off! He and his brothers were truly amazing, all dressed in Tin Soldier outfits, not missing a note nor a step. They were a band of brothers unlike what anyone had ever seen and probably never will again. I will never forget that night as long as I live. - Rick Booth
RIP Farrah...
You will be missed by middle aged males world wide.

Nemeth, who has been receiving critical acclaim nationally, reinvigorates the sound of vintage American R&B with his spine-tingling vocals and considerable songwriting skills. In his latest Blind Pig release Love Me Tonight, John has crafted a timeless slice of American music. As the Pasadena Weekly testifies in this week's cover feature: "What pours out of his mouth is anything but expected: earthy, gut-bustingly robust vocals clearly influenced by old-school soul masters like Sam Cooke, Junior Parker and Otis Redding, but with a style recognizably his own."
Tom Mazzolini, San Francisco Blues Festival promoter, says, "John Nemeth is an incredible talent. He just capitivates an audience. It's very, very impressive...boy, can he sing!"
